Audio

As you may have read, I am a versatile singer. From Classical Baritone to Rock Tenor, I have performed widely across Australia, Asia and even at sea. Here are a few audio clips (some highlights, some full songs) which showcase the different genres I have covered.

SUADE (a cappella):
I take the lead on the classic 1983 Lionel Richie hit, “All Night Long”.
Recorded in 2009, this version is a breakthrough in Australian a cappella. It combines traditional pop singing with vocal percussion and vocal instrumentation effects.

AUSTRALIAN CLASSICAL:
Recorded in 2007 at 3MBS FM’s “Live At The Convent”, I presented three songs set to poems of Australian bush poet, AB “Banjo” Patterson. Composed by Ziggy de Voight, they included Banjo’s standard “Prelude”, larrikin joshing in “Last Week”, and a sorrowful, reminiscent “A Bunch of Roses”.

CLASSICAL CHRISTMAS CAROL:
I feature as soloist in H.E. Darke’s setting of the traditional christmas carol, “In The Bleak Midwinter”. Words by English poet Christina Rossetti. Recorded December 2007 at Richmond Uniting Church, Victoria, Australia. This clip is an excerpt from Exaudi Youth Choir recording, “Hear Us”.

MORE TO COME!
